If you deep dive apparently the vocalist is something of an inferiority complex edgelord but I mean that sounds like BM just about. Lyrics to Pale Imitation are especially lul worthy for this reason since it's a fallout against spiteful big bands punching down on the small guy and it has the lines ”incel cucks, suck my tool" but I think maybe he's taking the piss out of it idk

A lot of people were shitting on them, but i never understood why. The gripes with them ranged from "lol anime is shit" to "every song from Onryo II is plagiarised".
I never got why people hate on them, to me this band is sxactly what Matt Heafy "japan-inspired bm album" should have been like for me to enjoy it.
