I love this album, grew sick of Disorder though because my band used to cover it, although it's a really good song. I like Shadowplay and Transmission a lot. 5/5.

This album is digustingly overrated, tell me they have something better than this in their discography...no trolling here, this is just not nearly this good and has eaten up far too much of my time trying to get into it

I just don't hear it, I can respect the minimalist style, the fact they influenced a good chunk of bands, and that they tried something different. I'm lost, however, on how much biased praise they get

oh yeah, and sorry for having a differing opinion

I agree with some of this review. In my opinion, their sound is completely sparse and really feels separated, it works with their whole minimalistic tone. Curtis' lyrics are exceptionally good and when it melds with the band its fantastic, unfortunately its not always there.

Also, purely in a lyrical sense its probably one of my favorite records. If Curtis had all of the writing duties, then it he had immense talent in describing his feelings, pure bliss in terms of lyricism.

I change my mind I can't help, but be glued on the songs that stick with me. There are only a few here that I don't really bother for (maybe 2), but damn the rest are fantastic. Has to be the passion of the Curtis and the addictive bass.

Anything less than a 5 for this album is just ridiculous. Pure emotion, thats what this album is made of.
