Stuck Pig and Pink Roses are verging on it. Glassjaw is weird though. They have punk, alternative, nu-metal, and post-hardcore and tons of other wack stuff going on. They can't really be classified. I mean come on Stuck Pig is made completely off of instrumental noise and noodling. How cool is that?

This band is amazing. 'The Circus That Has Brought Us Here' is such an incredible song.
I love the singer's screams and singing, and they're all younger than twenty. I so hope I can pick this album up when I go to Holland in a few days. :thumb:

I love this band...I think they're about to get alot bigger.....I got the Gostship demo first and thought it was absolutely amazing so I ordered the full-length at the local record store and got it like a month later, heh, but I was still psyched....I loved every track from the beginning....this is one of those bands that for me I like/or lov every song and I think can't put a bad song out...anywho, I think they're coming out with some new stuff not too far from now which I'm relaly psyched about.....

What a horrible band name. There definately needs to be a band called The Fruit of the Loin.
Pretty good review.

These guys are amazing. They play in standard tuning, which is pleasing to my ears. They're original, and very talented.

Actually I quite like the band name.

Sounds interesting. I'll have to check them out some time.

I checked this album out after I stumbled across Doppelganger. I can not really pin down which album I like better. Some of the older versions of the rerecorded songs are better, the others are better in the new versions IMO.
Without any doubt though, this is quite a superb pice of Post-Hardcore music in the likes of At the Drive-In. If I had to name a band that is up to take the throne that ATDI left, it would be these guys, hands down.
4/5 stars from me :thumb:

This album rules. What Sound Does a Mastadon Make? is a perfect album ender.

I have this but I never ventured past Rockstar Nailbomb because I can't stop listening to it. The guitarist is awesome but they could do without the singing vocals. This Message Edited On 10.25.05

This or Doppelganger?

This album is better than Doppleganger, but harder to obtain. If you hear the songs that are shared by both albums, you'll be disappointed with the changes made when they went to the new album.
Still, nothing beats Ghostship Part Four, which isn't on any album.

I thought Ghostship I was damn good.

the guitarist had only been playing for 3 years when they made this.

Okay, so now I can play "Rockstar Nailbomb" on guitar. Pretty sweet riffs that'll like span 24+ frets in 4 measures.

Finally got this, and for once, believe the hype. Needless to say but if you like post-hardcore you need to get this now. Def. a strong 4.5/5

His singing in doppelganger is much better, but i find myself listening to this album more.
FCPSITSGEPGEPGEP is the only song i dislike on here. The remix is 10x better.
TFoT = orgasmic
