And whoever said you can download Bon Scott's version, that is NOT, i repeat, NOT Bon Scott, it is an imposter that they pass off for Bon Scott. Bon Scott never sang the song Back in Black or any other song off of the album. And Back In Black is #2 in world album sales, The Eagles greatest hits is #1 in American sales. Michael Jackson's Thriller is #1 in worldwide sales.
Back in Black sold about 20 million in America I think, but total sales are somewhere in the 40 millions. 42 or 43 million i think. This Message Edited On 10.28.05

I own this albm, and I still can't seem to understand what's so grand about it. The riffs are really simple for the most part. The lyrics are slightly above average, and the vocals are just annoying 10/12 of the time.

For the record, the new Nike commercial may be the best commercial ever.

I would have given you shook me all night long 5/5. I don't think you understand the lyrical genius behind given the dog a bone, when I actually understood what it meant I saw it in a whole new light. And if you don't understand it the dog is a girl, so that should give you a clue what the bone is.
As for Brian Johnson vs. Bon Scott, I see 4 different vocalists. Bon Scott on Highway to Hell was amazing, and completley different than his other stuff. This is my favorite, next comes early Brian Johnson, from back in black to flick of the switch. His voice was insane then, but on fly on the wall you could tell they were covering something up with loads of reverb. After that Brian Johnson sounded like he was gargling knives.

Sorry for the double post but i kept getting this message that my comment was too long. About the drumming and bass, no there nothing special but thats why their perfect for the band. Ac/dc is centered around simple, short, choppy riffs. A complex rythm section would ruin the point and the band as a whole would have a completley different sound.

Another one of my favorite CD's. I really think that when some talks about a rock legend, they should be talking about these guys. They are just absolutally amazing! I would have to say that this Album is my favorite too. Most all the songs I loved, except for the song 'let me put my love into you'. I think that that song sounds kinda panzy. Otherwise, There is no fault in this CD and I give it the rating 4.5

This is an amazing album! Back In Black (the song not album) actually really annoys the hell out of me, because I hear it so many times probably. Even with that, every song is awesome on this album.
What I don't like is when people don't like AC/DC just because they hear the same songs over and over on the radio...you have to get into their other not-SO-popular music too to really get to like them sometimes. And this album, is definitely one of their best, not JUST because of the song Back In Black, but because of EVERY song on it.
