I'd agree if they weren't so hit or miss in the later part of their discography. Aside from Halo of Blood and Hexed, anything after Hate Crew just doesn't really do it for me.

I thought Are You Dead Yet? was a good and much needed attempt at a different style after four very similar albums and I thought HCD was the worst of the four personally so I think it was good they tried something different.

This and FTR as a close second was their peak though for sure.

For me, the only albums of theirs that don't completely do it for me are Blooddrunk and RRF (and maybe AYDY) but even then, all of their albums have songs that I enjoy. But yeah, the three album run from Hatebreeder to HCD is peak Bodom.

This and FTR is definitely above the rest, I think Blooddrunk is a bit overhated though

Hey, let's not count Something Wild out now!

Something Wild is great but I think the next three albums vastly improved upon the bands sound.

I certainly agree that this and Reaper were where they perfected their sound (aside from Hate Crew, I actually prefer Something Wild to Hate Crew :P), but it doesn't feel right to leave Something Wild out when talking about peak Bodom as it helps lay the groundwork for the next ones after. We can at least say they started out real strong, right?

Fair enough and Something Wild is certainly a great album. A solid 4/5 for me. I just don't see it as peak Bodom as HB and FTR improved that sound and HCD is just so much more fun (tbh, I am including HCD because it was my first Bodom album, so this is a bias pick).
