Yeah this is really solid. Skeptical about hearing their new album though.

This has actually grown on me with time, which is really nice. The Hollow is a beautiful introduction.

Jamming this again for the first time in awhile. Still very good. Definitely the better half of the Afterman.

Most of these songs slay.

Definitely the better half of the Afterman. [2]

With the exception of Mothers of Men and maybe Holly Wood the Cracked (mood dependent) the entire album is 4.0-4.5 worthy.

Vic the Butcher / Evagria are actually some of my favourite Coheed tracks.

I love Evagria

The best moment in Holly Wood is that short Bridge-type moment that's never repeated:

"SHE'S A FEW CARDS SHORT OF A FULL DECK

A JOKER IN THE GAME

SHE'S GOT A BULLET WITH YOUR NAME ON IT

NO DOUBT SHE'S A MENTAL CASE

BETTER KEEP THAT GUN AWAY!"

Just got to Evagria, goddamn, this album is really, really good. I'd probably put this right after SSTB, IKSSE and Good Apollo I (which I can never rate in order anyways).

yeah the few times I've seen them they've always killed it. Coheed did the Ghostbusters theme far better than anyone else who's done it and they actually had all the monsters on stage in life size body suits and each band member was dressed and equipped as a ghost buster. damn they fucking went over the top on that. so fucking awesome and thankful that they did that for my city.

Man, I'm kinda jealous, Storm.

I usually see them at least once a year, more if I can manage it. Been doing that since I saw them in NYC for the last two nights of the Neverender event...

That, and seeing them perform IKSSE:3 in its entirety for its 10 year anniversary a few years ago were probably some of the best live shows I've ever seen.

Honestly think this album might be among their best nowadays. It's got so much replayability.
