I'll change it back once this is un-featured. I wanted something a little more eye-catching for now.

These guys used to have flutes? interesting.

No, they didn't.

The summary is missleading then. I suggest you change it to not give readers the wrong idea.

No, he was merely making a joke about how often folk metal incorporates the usage of flutes to give a "folk"y sound.

wow, glad I got this. solid stuff right here

Right but a person who virtually knows nothing about the band could get the wrong idea. Still I think an electric flute would be cool for this band. This Message Edited On 12.03.07

An electronic flute would sound stupid as fuck (as it always does) on this.

Although I am not a huge Black Metal fan, I can't stop listening to this CD. I think the
vocals are very good but the guitars tend to be a wall of sound and not very dynamic.
The drums on traitor's gate also annoy me because of the off sound of the tom. The
mix is good on my computer but sound a little muddy on a better sound system. I
still love this CD and will have it in my 6-disk rotation for some time. I felt it was a
very good and creative review. This Message Edited On

Good album. After first impression not a 4.5 for me but nice album indeed.
This is an album I would listen to on a trip through nature. I hope I manage to go on holiday in Alaska or something. I would listen to this then.

My first post, and my pick for Album of the Year in 2007. Primordial are filled with passion and pride. This band will not cut corners in any way. There is no compromise for this band, either musically or lyrically. In regard to their previous release "The Gathering Wilderness" this disc "To the Nameless Dead" is the next logical musical step. For me the musicianship is phenominal. The drumming is superb. The guitars come at you in fluid crushing waves of melodious strain. Nemthanga's vocal performance may be his best. He seems to have backed off a little on his vocals on TTND, as opposed to TGW. For me, the music seems to breathe, the guitars are more in the forefront. And then Nemthanga's vocals kick in to accentuate the music.
