My favourite album of all time possibly. Inspired me from a younger age to play bass and guitar.
I love every track on it. The people that don't like it probably just don't like the mix of funk, rock & punk. I love all chilis albums though but this is my fav
People who have only the album a few times probably shouldn't rate it 'cus the first few times you hear it... its a bit over powering but after a while you relise the genious of each part in each song

If i have to hear Under the Bridge one more time i will surely hang myself
ok, maybe a little drastic, but its my least favorite song on the album and very VERY over-played

It is over-played, but not without good reason. The guitar playing on that song is very tasteful. Maybe even genius.

the song under the bridge is is probably a defining moment in the chili pepers career everything about the song is done so well pure awesome

The Ashtray Girl wrote some very good ones back in the days of the old forum.  This is a very good one. Still probably their best work too...I like their recent stuff (especially By The Way), but I don't think that they'll ever beat this in terms of making a consistently excellent album.
