You were really harsh, and yes it seems like a too perfect live show, but your lying by saying you dont slag them, you called them fraud almost 9 times. Sure they are sellouts but i really liked this cd because i like perfect music. Seriously, you are in a bad mood to think that perfect sound(you said it was too perfect to be live) is bad? What the hell is wrong with you? Now i love the first amendment, but you probably hate aerosmith too. Meteora and Hybrid Theory rocked and if it wasnt for these guys id still be listening to old metal(which is still the best).

Review is too oppinionated and takes too many shots at things that don't matter. Actually, you complemented the quality quite a bit, too.
Fading the audience together on live albums is fairly common when cutting out a track or two to make it fit to a cd is necessary.
It's not very hard to not make a mistake. There're like 3 ****ing power chords per song. Guitarist has strong fingers and you can clearly tell the drummer is doing everything that he is. Too much talking coming from Shinoda for that to be fake and backing bass would never happen, seeing as the kid down the street could play those bass lines.
They wouldn't be LP w/o Hahn and I don't see how you came that conclusion.
I don't give a **** if he's stoned! Good for him if he is! Don't give me **** about weed if you've ever touched an alcoholic drink.
And I'm not even a fanboy.

And another thing... You said that they practically played the album versions of songs... Instrumentally, I can see that argument, except for the few extended bridges and intros that you can't find on the cd, but the vocals... What about how Chester's voice really soars in Papercut? Not to mention the vocal interplay in some of the verses that aren't on the cds either.
Thanks for the review, man, you actually helped me remember why I loved this so much a few years back. All these anti-nu-metal ppl all over the internet who don't back up their statements and make ridiculous, pointless accusations really make me feel nu-metal has become underrated.

@MrFudge:
i don't hate aerosmith. at all. i'm just saying a live album should FEEL different than a studio album. even when the production is good and clear, there's always that vibe, that atmosphere that you can only get on a live setting.
not so here.
that's all i was saying.

Ugh, I cant believe I bought this! Yeah the music is very fake. They have no real talent in this band. The bass and the guitar are obviously not being played by Brad or that bald dude. I noticed this and I was like, okay? WTF? No improv on any of the songs?
Boring, dull concert.

C'mon!!! that review was awfull and you all know it!!
If there was a lesson on how to right a POV review, this would be it.
and was it just me, or was there like 1 or 2 lines said about the quality of the performance?
I didn't think that the performance was that bad. Even though the only time a song was different from in the studio was "One Step Closer".
All in all- alright album, shocking review

Got this today and I think its fair enough for a Linkin Park and a Live album. Not the best of either but I don't think its too terrible.

This isnt that bad. Chester's voice is in top form on this though. I wish he still sounded like this.

I dont care how many people say this sucks, Chesters voice on this rules. The performance of A Place For My Head is awesome.

Haha, I remember buying this from Best Buy. It's been so long since I've watched/listened to it.

I like the performances on this better than on the actual CDs.

I wouldn't say I prefer them more, but they're nice to listen to sometimes instead of the studio versions. Some of the crap on this is just so powerful.

I think the energy back on the Meteora tour fucking ruled compared to now. Now they are just pretty terrible live, that Road to Revolution thing was baaaaaad.
