So if I told this is my favorite Opeth album by far (really far) would you call me deaf or something? It just blows me away everytime for my own reasons. The only flaw I can find is the sudden change from acoustic to distortion near the end of "Nectar" .
I wont neg your review since it got some points but do yourself a favour and check out the word: Modesty....

haha, what I mean is, though, having never heard it, and knowing what Opeth sound like (to a certain extent) this doesn't leave me with any idea what to expect from the album. It's just a rant.

I respect the author's opinion on this and I see wher he is comming from. Certainly this is not the best, I agree. But the exact reason you don't like this album is the reason why I like it.

on a relevant note, after listening to this again if black rose immortal wasn't on here my rating would skyrocket
