Decent death metal album. Boring, but at least listenable unlike Doom.

What? This album is boring! All the songs sound the same. Nothing really stands out. His vocals are downright annoying at times, which has never happened before. Jonny's always been a good vocalist.

Wasn't a bad listen, but honestly I've gone through the album at least 5 times and I never have any lasting remnants of songs stuck in my head. It's not bad, or good, it just fades into the recess of nothingness....

Exactly Countorus. Several of the people claiming that it's repetitive haven't listened to it more than a few times. According to iTunes, I had listened to each song at least 33 times before I actually wrote the review. Keep in mind the album actually leaked a couple weeks back, and I've been listening to it ever since. Regardless, I still don't see it as being an incredible album.

Nothing takes that long to get into. It's not that complex. If you listen to a Rick Astley album 33 times, you're bound to like a few songs. :P

Thought we had already been over this, Decapitated is hands down better than JFAC. I don't think anyone has said otherwise :>.

After listening to this 3 times the songs really get tiresome. There's hardly in variation on types of riffs or structure. While they got better talent wise, they got worse song writeing wise. I enjoyed their last album much much more.

I think a lot of people hate JFAC because they're popular in the scene, rather than crediting them with respect for making music that they enjoy (and aren't bad at all in doing so) and not giving a fuck about what a bunch of people on the internet think about them.
No biggie.

...another album that I have that I havent listened to yet lol. JFAC have been so hard for me to get into, if this album is anything like Genesis idk if i'll like it

Not because they're popular-- I listen to pop and rock without a problem. This album is just very repetitive. Listen to a tech album like the Faceless or Spawn of possession. Changing song structures from song to song.

This album is a good one but after half of the album it seems like JFAC got tired and just stopped. Because the first 5 tracks are great (except "Summon The Hounds"). I wish the album had continued that way.
I think JFAC will make better albums in the future, because this is the first album they make with the new members of the band (Jon Rice, Al Glassman)

I agree. They have come a long long long way. It is much better than genesis in every way notable.

I wish they'd write some non-repetitive music. They can definitely play.
