Don't get me wrong, it's quite excellent but I've really never gotten the classic potential. Live at Leeds, on the other hand...

Still blows me away how much better this is than anything else The Who ever did, and yet still, growing up I almost NEVER heard any of the songs here played on the radio. Like seriously, nothing this band has done even comes close to the brilliance on display here. Sure, Tommy inspired the whole "rock opera" thing and Who's Next marked a noticable growth in both musicianship and maturity, but this one... This one is the definiting album of an entire century of music. The Who ought to be proud of at least having the single greatest album ever made under their name, even if its the only true classic they ever put together.
