I have actually had these guys on my to-listen-list for a couple months now. The song I heard from this sounded similar to My Epic, so it had me intrigued. Just haven't got around to it, yet.

I have this weird OCD shit where if I don't have an obscene amount of time, I won't watch tv/movies. Like if I know I have to be at work in three hours, I won't watch an hour and a half movie. I'm fucking retarded and I don't know why but it makes me so uncomfortable.

That is odd. I guess I am like that with video games. I kind of get wrapped up in them and don't pay attention to what time it is, so I try not to play them before I have something to do. Otherwise, I end up scrambling to get ready in a small amount of time.

Same thing if I just got a TV show season that I haven't seen yet. It's hard for me to tear myself away until I don't have access to the next episode.

I understand that. I can generally do that with TV shows, but not so much with movies, unless it's something I have seen just so many times I pretty much have it memorized.

I just like to finish things I have started. Like I'll listen to a shitty album the whole way through usually to give it a chance.



I'm too lazy to shoutbox you back so that song you sent was pretty sweet. I really liked the non-heavier aspects and I dig the jazzier feel that was going on at times. I liked that part when the clean vocals and the piano first hit in particular.



Shit was kind of a rollercoaster with her where she didn't want to be with me anymore but she kept wanting to hang out with me and have sex and stuff. She left to go on a family vacation for three weeks and told me how much she would miss me and two weeks after being there, stopped talking to me and told me she didn't want to do this anymore and she was sorry -_-

Yeah, they are pretty interesting. They go in and out of those ridiculous hardcore-like sections pretty well. I think they are at their best when they are being heavy, but I like all of it, so far. The first time I heard that song, I was just in awe when that piano part came in and actually worked with what was happening.

Jeez... That's rough. After my first gf and I broke up, we got back together (but not actually together) and did pretty much what you just said, but that... ended messy (I pretty much had to break up with her twice, even tho we weren't actually dating the second time, she took it even worse than the first time), so I try to just stay away from exes after that experience.

I'll have to check out their full release(s) if it's anything like that one track. That piano part really was awesome. So far, Suck Out the Poison is eh. It has cool moments but then it shifts into these horrible sections that sound like they only exist to be catchy and give people something to sing along too. China White II is really awesome though

Yeah, it was worth a shot, lol. I don't know what it is about it, but I just love Suck out the Poison.

If I don't have enough interest in an album, I usually don't bother with it. I would probably have a lot more lower ratings if I would finish half the stuff I start that didn't hold me long enough to make it past 3 or 4 songs.

Most of my low ratings are from stuff that I listened to when I was younger that I now hate/dislike, or are things that I had to listen to while at work.

If I am gonna give something a low score, I usually like to be fair and listen to the whole thing before giving it a 2 or something.



There is nothing better than having to suffer at work through horrendous music

I don't rate something if I didn't listen to it in full (which is what I meant when I said I would have a lot more lower ratings), but if I am not interested enough to listen to the whole thing, I don't really want to force myself to unless I would be reviewing it for whatever reason, am in a situation where I am not in control of what I am listening to, or impulse bought something and ended up not liking it.
