The Freddie Mercury tribute concert version of Somebody to Love with George Michael on vocals is pretty great. He does a good job at singing Freddie's part.

A bit overrated, but still a great album.

I do not see how ANATO is more unified than this, I actually thought this was a little more cohesive. Both are excellent albums, Opera has The Prophet's Song though, so it might be a tiny bit ahead

Starting to think this is better than A Night at the Opera tbh.

Upon initial impressions, this is incredibly disappointing. Feeling a 3 on this one

Somebody to Love > Bohemian Rhapsody

Bohemian would just barely crack my top 10 queen tracks so far. That being said, still going to have to majorly disagree with you
Edit: upon further listening, I like this even less. This just falls off a cliff after the opener and hardly even attempts to recover

^ Funny because Tie Your Mother Down is one of my least favorites on here
(Yeah, I know it's an old comment. But still)

This has much better songs than the opener, agreed

Hell, there's a substantially better song immediately following it with You Take My Breath Away

I have always been bery fond of the Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy as well

This has some killer moments, however these happen in songs I don't particularly enjoy listening to. Millionaire Waltz is good but can't shake that "Lesser-Bohemian Rhapsody" feeling. Somebody To Love is great. Good Old-fashioned Lover Boy is probably my personal highlight. Just wished I had more love for the ballads too, but they don't excite me much. Eh, there's enough here for me to come back to every now and again though.

I agree, it's less good than A Night At The Opera. But, besides The Millionaire Waltz and Somebody To Love, the two ballads of Mercury, You Take My Breath Away and Somebody To Love are two classics, despite you don't be very enthusistic with them, and Tie Your Mother Down and especially Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together) are two great classics of May.

Bumping this to a 5. I think this perfectly streamlines the style they were going for in A Night At the Opera and Sheer Heart Attack where at least half the tracks on those albums never seemed to reach their full potential. Not a single bad or underwhelming track here. Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy and The Millionaire Waltz are top 5 Queen songs.
