Pretty much. Granted I really do like these guys, but not every song/album in their arsenal is good to be honest

People dislike Trivium cos their music isn't very good dude, nostalgia is def part of the reason why I find them good at times.

Trivium, along with Unearth, Killswitch Engage and A7X are big time members of CoreKillers, Inc.

I think much of their music is pretty good actually, it's just Matt Heafy is a bad vocalist

I like Killswitch and Unearth, both a pretty good amount. I don't hate Trivium in the slightest, it's just that their stuff has its monumental peaks and valleys. They're inconsistent, not due to their constant shifts in styles, but just in the quality of their material and failing to consistently make it compositionally interesting and unique.

Hey, at least in crusade, they tried something different

I just couldn't get behind the massive amount of Metallica imitation on Crusade. Ember to Inferno was eh, true, but for their age when it was released, it was commendable, in my opinion.

Not fair to throw Unearth in with all those scene queens.
They may have abused a lot of styles with nary a shred if substance, but they never tried to sound like Disturbed.

People seem to forget that before Killswitch came around in 01/02, the popular metal scene was literally made up of Limp Bizkit, Korn, and...well not much else. So, what did they ruin again?
|

metalcore maybe???????????????????????
|

And the popular metalcore bands, that were legitimately popular, before killswitch were?

Poison the Well, Converge, Botch? Yeah, they weren't mainstream popular, but they each got a very respectable following, with Converge maintaining theirs to this day.
