Decent review although a bit short and dismissive. I guess for fans like me this is a more accessible record and I find it stronger and more cohesive than At The Gates of Sethu. Nile pretty much developed explored every inch of their style on their previous albums, so it doesn't have much of a change or variety. Bu the fact this one has an audiable production is already a big plus.

The song I listened to from this album ("Call of Destruction" I think-or whichever song is about terrorists destroying holy things) was decent, but no better than that imo. The last time this band was truly excellent I think was with Those whome the Gods Detest. That album is pure brilliance.

Album is incredibly solid, little one dimensional but that's to be expected.



The new stuff sounded awesome live though, crowd took to it really quickly.

Except the 4's which are Annihilation, TWTGD and Shrines. Maybe BSOV but I think that's just me.
