Piglet which of their's do you consider the best?

i don't enjoy their music enough to be able to keep up with so many releases, i found microtonal incredibly dull. i'll give this a listen anyway

I certainly wouldn't describe this as dull

Honestly, Nonagon Infinity is probably their most polished/accomplished set of songs, but I find Float Along, Quarters and this album almost as enjoyable
i think they just love jamming out on acid and touring more than working shitty jobs, so that's probably why they release so much

I'll spin this a few times then try 'Nonagon' a bit more - I was sitting somewhere between a 3 and 3.5 on that one, really just the relentless one paced nature of that album which ducked it below the 3.5 mark. Trying the first three songs again just now and I still think I'll likely prefer it to this new one. Never know, this album does seem particularly mental which could be good :/
Generally I quite like garage/stoner/fuzz so I should like this band at least a little

oh well i understand some of the criticisms you guys are making, i just can't for the life of me try to put a critical eye on this band, i dig their energy and their boundless rock n roll galloping way too much to care

I get what Doofus is saying about 40 minute orgasm, this thing is relentless. Couldn't get into it as much as their previous works, will need to give another jam though

This is alright...It's not as good as Nonagon or Microtonal banana.
I love some of the heavy psych. areas tho, and I think this might be their noisiest album to date....but some of the spoken word bits are really distracting, mainly to the end of the record in the 3rd part

"The voices at its centre are sometimes more omnipotent than any idea of a God, and sometimes frail excuses for beings, shitting and vomiting all over themselves..."
Well you sold me, I gotta listen to this record

Hilariously shortened in the 'Trending Albums' to King Gizzard and The Liza
BTW did anyone see Fantano's review? He spent the whole time shitting on the voices.

I think this one is probably just a bit too batshit for me because I checked out the 3 albums before this and enjoyed them all to varying degrees.

Nonagon was pretty cool yeah, my favorite on the first listen, the acoustic/more poppy album was neat too though I doubt I'll come back to it much.

i haven't listen to paper mache balloon myself but the general consensus are nonagon and mind fuzz are the two essentials.
