this seems like something id normally write off as pleasant yet dime-a-dozen indie folk/pop, but i like it a lot for some reason.

So many hard hitting lines on this album.
and we talk until we think we might just kill ourselves
But then we laugh until it disappears

just feel like there's a bit of an oversaturation of these sadgirl acoustic indie folk artists as of late, and this album is no different and didn't hit me as hard as others. sorry to disappoint tho D:

The whole vibe of this album reminds me of what I'm going through with my ex right now.
So much love still exists there and when we talk there's this deep sadness that permeates everything because we can't let go and don't want to.
So maybe it's just personal, but there's an eerie beauty to this album that doesn't quite exist in other indie folk stuff, also the country influence makes it stand out a bit too

yeah this sadness is something I didn't immediately connect with, but I definitely see its artistic value for those that do

I'm just a sucker for this sort of record at the mo, and this does the style better than I've seen in a long while, being alot more intricate than it initially appears imho
