I honestly don't know how I feel about this album. It's not as catchy and memorable as their first two albums but it's not as heavy and exciting as their last two. I think I'm just underwhelmed by this. Hopefully it grows on me.

As much as I think their newer more hardcore stuff was amazing, I actually think I gotta go ahead and admit that LIEU is also my favorite album of theirs, but I'm kind of a sucker for an extremely catchy pop punk album.
I will say though in spite of that I think "War Paint" might be their best song, atleast that I've heard. I don't think I ever listened to Life is a Waiting Room. But War Paint blew my mind when I heard it and still does. That last verse IMO is one of the best things Buddy has ever done.

Still too soon to definitively rate where this will end up but it's pretty high up in their disco for me. Cringy lyrics my ass. Buddy leaves everything on the table. I'm sorry somebody singing about their *real life* experiences with pain, death, addiction and depression is "cringy" to you.

If you can't relate to the topics Buddy sings about in this album (and the fire) I could see how they might rank lower as far as musicianship goes. Renacer does nothing for me it's just pure aggression, though. Had a few good tracks.

Aye, the lyrics of that song are absolutely incredible and hit me so hard when I first heard them, and add the insane vocals Buddy provides it's almost perfect man. Total cathartic release of anger everytime that last verse hits and the screams begin.
