Usually, the people that stick around are the ones that know how to take shit for putting out a review and are able to move on. We all have gone through that, you included Doct, it's not ideal, but I guess it's the way it is on this site.

Like Bloon said, there's plenty of people here willing to help and giving critique in good faith, but I've also seen new people play extremely defensive when having typos or weird grammar pointed out.

And I've just read Adolph's feedback and I don't think there's anything harsh about it.

Imo adolf wasn't harsh at all. Maybe there is a nicer way to critique someone but harsh? Nah man.

If people tell him the review (or anything he has taken part of) sucks that indeed isn't our problem. He put himself out there for people to read and should've known that anytime you give your opinion on something you're gonna get criticism (be it your opinion, the way you wrote it etc etc).

The review did came off as amateurish (as already said).

I recommend that you go ahead and check reviews written by other people. Try to see what you like or don't like about X review so that you can better yourself.
Also maybe expand your vocabulary a bit.

About what adolf said - I'm sure that if you would've asked him he would be willing to point out what went wrong in his opinion.

P.s. take anything here lightly, no one hates you or tbh even cares about you. With that in mind take any kind of critique you get and be happy with it. You have to understand that just like getting criticism might suck, not getting any kind of feedback is even worse.

I did go into detail after he passively aggressively pointed out that my criticism wasnt constructive. Then the real salt began.
