Don't quite understand the people who love Pinata and see this as a significant step down. It's not as immediately rewarding, but this thing has grown on me so hard. At this point i'd say that it's a stronger all around album, really diggin' it after giving it more time.

Kind of a weird way of framing this. I feel like it’s just him growing more popular and therefore more influential as opposed to him somehow “maintaining relevance” over time. For every person who watched his reviews to see if they were allowed to like something in 2012... there’s five of them now.
I like him as much as the next guy but I agree his ever-growing influence on the perception of things within the last few years is kinda eye-popping.
