If you think Eminem is cringe, you are cringe. There is not a bad song here and the beats are world class. Brand new dance is literally a 2003 song with a mention of Caitlyn Jenner spliced in. That's why he shits on Christopher reeves here. It's so cringe to still talk about him that it's funny imo. The 'concept' also has a few levels to it

I think we're all aware of what the concept here is and Em's intentions. The issue is whether it's executed well or not. I'm sure if you're a stan this shit is crack.

I mean I pretty much really dig this entire album more than anything he's done in like 20 years

My only complaint is what I said before, I just wish he took that Shady persona and made it more current rather than recycling every fuckin line we've heard since Shady was invented (Christopher Reeve, Prince being a symbol, Ja Rule, etc)

This is his best album since Eminem Show, there's nothing here that approaches the cringe of MMLP2's lowpoints. Glad Em is rapping about things again, even if I don't care about them, he's no longer gets into these incoherent non-sequiturs

First listen, this is a banger. We'll see if it holds up for further listens! Beats seem better than previous albums too.

I’ve been reading this is terrible this morning. For some reason I had my hopes up a bit more than the last few because he hasn’t had a good album since recover imo, and even that was pretty mediocre compared to sl shady-Marshall Mathers-Eminem show.

I was a huge fan back in the day but years ago he became the worst thing he can be: boring.

This is a perfect time to really offend people with all the PC, liberal woke garbage out there so I thought he’d take the opportunity. Doesn’t SOUND like he has but I haven’t listened yet.

Gotta say tho, you guys are giving me slight hopes that it could be decent after all so I’ll give it a whirl.

Some bangers on here ngl people just love to hate this guy nowadays and can't get over how godawful Revival was (which is understandable)

Even targeting those topics is stale as fuck. We've had plenty of has-been musicians railing against the word "woke" since 2015. Let that shit die with Slim too. It's just the same asinine talking points over and over again. How about complaining about actually impactful shit instead?

It's America! We go in there with threats and bribes until we get what we want. If all else fails, we beat the crap out of everyone

I just never understood Em.

His stuff was lame in the early 2000’s and it’s just sad now.

This album comes across a little Tone Deaf to me and I'm Not Afraid to speak up and tell The Real Slim Shady "bro don't Lose Yourself" because Till I Collapse you'll always be the Rap God and it's driving me Berzerk to see you Just Lose It and I'm not Offended but Without Me Stan My Name Is The Marshall Mathers LP Relapse: Refill 2

I can see what you’re saying but it’s definitely impactful and not in a good way. I do feel like the tide is starting to turn a bit though so that’s good.
