easily better than DAMN, really fun and pretty consistent save for a few snoozers. might be more enjoyable than GKMC and Sec80, but the highs on those are higher. pretty happy with this one, nice change of pace, tho MM is overall a lot better

It seems like a lot of mainstream Kendrick fans are in such a rush, crawling over each other to glaze everything he does like it’s the most profound shit hip hop has ever seen. Tbf he’s had a couple of albums like that, but everything since Damn hasn’t really been on that level. This is better than Mr. Morale but around the same level as Damn, with lower peaks imo.

It's a 3.5-4 for me yeah. It deff doesn't touch gkmc,tpab,80, and I think damn is better overall to. There's not a track here better than duckworth or DNA but it's a solid consistent front to back album full of bangers that will keep his momentum up from the Drake beef and will gain him more fans. Solid album.
