some of the lyrics are super weak, and yes spencer's cleans just get more annoying and nasally over time. His scramz, however, are infinitely better than P1. I think he had the best mix between the two on Juggernaut

I think the song is too corny to come off as beautiful. That line doesn't help either

The vocal melodies on P2 are waaay more focused than P1, and I'd argue that they're still the highwater mark of Spencer's output.

“Did tootoot insinuate that Spencer's voice and melodies were better on Periphery I?”

no. i was mainly talking about the band’s early instrumental compositions. don’t care for Spencer’s voice or the vocal melodies he comes up with. it’s just that his cleans have been sounding so nasal to me since juggernaut that i just had to get it out somewhere

This is actually really good and I didn't much get into their old stuff. It can be unabashedly cheesy and poppy but it's really infectious if you just let it do it's thing.

Lol, it's okay to dislike a band's music. There's no need to lie to yourself.
