Somebody tell me about this band. Have heard their name for forever. Was kind of turned off with the band name and took them for a shitty band because of it. Saw some footage today on Instagram of them at furnace fest. Seemed to be a good show judging from the clip. Listening to their latest single. Sounds fine to me. What demographic does this band cater to? FFO who else? This is probably a cringe post but I don’t care.

'Angel of Death through Annie is unstoppable' (3)

yeah, barely remember anything else about this, despite spending a fair bit of time with it - but I know this to be true

Revisited this today. One of those albums that grows over time. Def could see going with a 4 eventually.

Yeah it’s really fucking good. Anybody know if a new album is coming? Or is this a one off single?

It makes sense to listen to this as a continuation of BMTTS rather than a standalone thing as you suggest in the review, Sowing. At a first listen I was taken aback by the resemblance of the two albums, and I was ready to dismiss this one as a been there done that mind of thing. However, with more patience it is starting to grow on me!

I'm amazed how much these guys have matured over the years, although it's quite jarring from a live standpoint. First time I saw them was when Simple Math first dropped, they joked around with the crowd, had some insane stage presence and looked like they were having a great time. Last time I saw them (between Black Mile and this releasing) that jokiness and stage presence was lost, and they gave off a much more serious vibe. Maybe I caught them on a bad day lol, but I've never seen a band evolve like that, weird. Still kicked ass though!

To be fair, I've only been a dad for 3 months and I can already feel that misery seeping in lol. It was a bitter sweet feeling seeing them that 2nd time, like bumping into an old friend from school, and seeing how much they've changed
