90% of the time people discuss genres they should be discussing the recording techniques used instead imo, genre labels are useless when it comes to actually digging into a release. There’s definitely garage level production (aka it sounds like a mixtape) and the beats are almost purely chopped up and incessantly repeated samples. His voice is barely audible at times, and kind of freestyles on the tracks rather than composing a verse that is intwined with the music.
