They brought it out in 2014, before the new album imploded. And judging from the quality, I'm kinda glad.

Limpbizkit

We go underground

This track is great. Much people can't get just a little more complicated song, saying bad things, well they will just gain some brain weight with little more time and you know - THIS TRACK IS GREAT!

In terms of composition and raw aggression this is probably LB's best album. But their other albums had the fun factor despite not being as musically credible. This was a pretty big shift in style too in favour of a more rapcore leaning (even including hardcore drummer Sammy Siegler) sound.

You really have to appreciate LB's guts in the way they released this though. Takes serious balls to be a platinum selling act, passing their prime, and insist on releasing an intentionally underground album with no promotion - most acts in that situation would pull out all the stops to push their album. I wonder, if they'd gone all the way and released it under a different name with hidden identities, how it would've been received.

That's why I think it's strange. It's like some mysterious artifact. This album really came out of nowhere and sounds like Limp Bizkit if they would play music in a gritty parallel universum. I don't know how to explain, but the music sounds like Limp Bizkit but at the same time it doesn't. I don't think it's particularly good, but I don't think it's particularly bad either. I'm high as a kite and I know everything I just said makes no fucking sense, but neither does the existence of this album

Imagine if they had tried to make such stuff from the beginning. They could be good at this. I'd be interested if the second album would drop. Part 2 that is.

Same, yet at the same time it's one of their best albums. Easily top 3 for me.

This is one of the albums I listen to the most from them. Would like to see Part 2 drop when they finally sort out what Fred wants them to do. And if they release Part 2, I hope that, unlike with Part 1, people leave out their preconceptions about LB before reviewing it because I think this album was held back by the band's reputation.
