i was extremely pleasantly surpised when I heard this album especially with not connecting with their first cd

this cd is a masterpiece, this is music like 5-10 years for now. way ahead of its time. extremely good. def one of the best albums ive ever heard. and I have given this a 4.5/5 which is the highest rated album right now in my list of ratings

Album suffers from poorer production than Cabinet. I also feel that the technicality is less effectively used than on Cabinet. Still pretty damn good though.

Once i listened to Cabinet from these guys.

While the band is technically proficient, the actual merit of the songs is so and so.

It was too complex for its own good.

I think they should tone down the tech influence a bit and focus more on the song writing.

Don't know if you care at this point but there is a typo in the review at

"... Inception, Sour Flow, Sorched and In My Own Creed ..."

In My Own Creed should be In My Own Greed.

like saying bach is too complex for his own good. the song structures on cabinet are incredibly basic compared to this album. the technicality of any music should have no bearing on how much merit it has, and should not be used either derogatively or exaltingly

Do you have the link for the song? Would be much appreciated.

In the case of this, it's overbearing and goes fucking nowhere.

And for fucks sake, stop fucking comparing this shit with classical music. That doesn't excuse the fact that these guys couldn't write a song out of a paper bag.

you're focusing on something you dont like too much. protip: focus on music you actually like instead of complaining about something you dont. some people like this, some people dont; it's the same as any other music. get over the fact that your opinion means just as much as anyone else's.
