An excellent review, great word choice/sentence structure. And although I wholeheartedly disagree with much of your criticisms, I understand how you could have these opinions, especially after a handful of listens. It took me a while to get into this band and this album, but found a few more listens and a bit of patience to be very rewarding in that regard.

Jennifer's long, ashen hair hung down, concealing the girl's face like a curtain round a hospatil bed. No one had any idea that the girl's eyes were revolving under her ruby tongue.
I actually don't care, both Alaska and Color have grown off me considerably.

I am starting to realize that this wasn't as good as I originally thought. The ending is just so epic, though, fantastic songwriting.
The middle is pretty mushy, if they would shove the better parts of TGM in between Foam Born and Viridian+White Walls with the Sun/Ants transition, damn.

^ I HATE the second part of that album. The three first songs are so amazing, it could easily have been their best album and then they pull out three filler songs that drag and drag and drag and are so god dayum boring.
