Yeah i heard some songs, i forget which ones, from their album The Price Of Existence and it sounded really good. Definitely didnt sound anything with a -core in it though.

They're definitely deathcore, nothing Melodic Hardcore about them. You probably didn't get into the breakdowns and the rare, and annoying, brees.

Thats why i dont like most of the Deathcore that i have heard. I havent listened to a lot, but i know that the brees are annoying as hell. I usually dont like -core music that much. I only like a couple bands like All That Remains and this band. I used to like Trivium, but they suck now. I also used to like Killswitch Engage, but they started to sound to emo for me.

I really despise Trivium's latest album, but I checked out their older stuff the other day and its not half bad.

Yeah The Ascendancy is good, but their most recent album sucks really bad. I forgot to say too, in Bludgeoned To Death when he screams the part about the doctor, i think that shit is so awesome lol.

I really don't see how KSE is emo. They're bad, but they didn't fit either definition of the word emo. Bludgeoned to Death and No Pity for a Coward are really the only 2 worthwhile songs on this.

I think they're all good pretty much. And i dont really mean that they are emo. I guess what i was trying to say is that they remind me of emo. Probably because of the clean vocals.

I'm pretty sure most emo doesn't have clean vocals similar to the ones in metalcore. I'm not the authority on the subject though seeing as the only emo album I've heard or own is As the Roots Undo.

He's talking about "popular" emo, like Escape the Fate and the like. Some "real" emo does have clean vocals. I can't really remember any, tbh. Well, other than CTTS.

Yeah. Im just saying that their clean vocals sound like some of the emo bands that my friend used to listen to. I dont remember because i hate emo, but i think the one im thinking of is Halifax.

I wanna say no to that, but a good chunk of the people I've seen that spew about Jane Doe and Empty Sky have a decent section of their pie chart chalked up to emo, alt/inde, and other such stuff.
