Aww, what a lovefest. :-*
This is an alright album, I'm surprised that I kind of like it to be honest.

I'm kind of new to this "hardcore" and I quite like this album. However, to me most of these songs sound similar and thats quite unfortunate.

I'm playing devils advocate, but with a name like that, posting that a band like underOATH sucks will get that response. So take your mudvayne-core a$$ and go post on their page then...

yea dude mudvayne isnt as good as underoath, and bashing underoath in an underoath thread isnt really that smart. LIke ive said ive heard most of the mudvayne cd and i was completely unimpressed. im sure mudvayne is amazing in its "genre" but the ppl who listen to underoath will more than likely disagree.
SO take your negative a$$ elsewhere with that crazy talk
|
| |
then stop bashing them for no real reason
|

Hold up, hold up! OK, fair enough underoath shoudn't b bashd in their own thread, so take it somewhere else. I do agree that mudvayne are exceptional musicians, but underOATH also make very good music - music directed to their kind of audience, and if those people like that music thn don't diss thm 4 tht.
The only people how deservd to get dissd r
rappers pop artists and music based purely on market sales publicity and money. (and others that are similar)
catch u up on th westside

Underoath's style on this CD:
Vocal - They took TBS' method of singing and then having screaming accent the
singing in a really formulaic pattern and inverted it to have screaming be the primary
vein.
Guitar - Ever heard of a band called Hopesfall? Ya, well they did this style better
Rhythm Section - Sounds like a less interesting Deftones mixed with Finch. Hey,
speaking of Finch I knew I had heard Underoath's melodies before.

that was hilarious
also, DFelon wasnt starting up the argument, he was doing something called voicing his opinion. GOD FORBID HE SHOULD TYPE WHAT HE THINKS (under the assumtion DF be un male)
the problem with this album is its unoriginal. the others were pretty uniqueThis Message Edited On 03.05.06

i never said that he couldnt voice his opinion, i just noticed the clear attempt to start something else with his mockery of the band in their own thread and the little ending quote of "so thats 'making better music?'" also, there were once again accusations of a band he doesnt like stealing from another band. if you know the people of this site, then you know that they will argue over any post of that kind.
