I never knew Ved Buens Ende existed until about two weeks ago, when I read about them in the book "Black Metal: Evolution Of The Cult" by Dayal Patterson. Curiosity piqued, I downloaded this and I've been listening to this for a couple of weeks.
Amazing! I'm sick of the same old shit, and this is NOT the SOS. It's unique yet it's black metal. I can't 5 it, but 4.5 seems just a tad bit too low. 4.75!
GET THIS NOW AND LISTEN TO IT!

I've got the Candlelight edition of this album and the artwork is so inferior. Tempted to buy.

I like the Candlelight album art, somehow it feels more urgent and relevant to the album title.

This is such a beautiful album but the black metal parts are some of the most menacing you’ll ever hear.
