If the guys' lists holds up as it does up till now, you're going to see them bumps more often

It's really something else. And I like how it's just banger after banger, but the most straitforward song is left for the end. I think my problem with thrash was the high pitched vocals and the hyperbolic theatrization, but now I can totally accept it and go with it

TO BE FAIRRRR...

this isnt a problem with thrash in general, it mostly comes from trad/power/prog although watchtower kind of came before prog metal was an established genre but still they influenced it a lot

yea you will find vocals/aesthetic like this with a lot of the stuff casavir reps tbh but usually the rest of the music more than makes up for it

Yes, power is another genre I avoid (I had my fair share of power acts about a decade ago), and I can see how it's different with thrash. But as I said, I can go around it now, or I can even appreciate it at times

Dude I 've had that problem with the high pitched vox for literally decades. Then one day when the shields fell down it opened up an entire new universe.

It just takes a trojan horse to do the job. Happens with high pitched vocals, happens with growls and brutals, happens with anything out of the ordinary in general, so yeah... In all honesty, if it wasn't for Helloween back in the day, I'd have a much harder time now

This is a clear example of why thin guitar tones own.

Yeah, Doug Keyser should be as much of a household name as Burton and Harris.
