I agree, accept for Alcest. I like shoegaze, but their newest record was really underwhelming

I loved the final track, but the rest seemed a bit meh to me, but it was respectable and quite beautiful

I love Azure Chimes and the last two are so chill
|
| |
and dunno why but Cherry Quartz brings da Choirs of The Eye vibes (especially the bridge)

Although I think we can agree that the interlude is a tad pointless

Yeah albums short enough without having the last 10 minutes be all atmosphere stuff. I might have to 4 this from how it loses a lot of its steam toward the end
|

I love the atmosphere on here, it really is that interlude that brakes the pace of the record but what follows is my fav track so hey

Yeah I mostly meant the interlude track, I also like The Golden Mind, it's so chill and nice I just think it's weird to end an album on two mostly atmospheric tracks when there's only been 30 minutes of the heavy shoegazing right before. If there was one or two more Azure Chimes or Aquamarine Towers it'd be a 4.6/4.7 for sure

the bonus version gives an extra track that ends the album on a fatter tone if you prefer

Really I'll check that out
