In all honesty, if we're going back to how this started, the "ISIS" jokes gotta stop like seriously.

"Garden Of Light" is the second best song they have ever written next to "The Pliable Foe". Thanks for the review.

Agreed Mong. Almost all of the songs are amazing in their own way and there's great instrumentation all around. I personally love the emphasis on experimental and post-rock this possesses. A fantastic progression from their previous two masterpieces.

1,000 Shards really surprises with that amazing lead guitar in the second half, Holy Tears also has that great clean guitar jamming in the middle

Yea that unique little section really brings genuine emotion. Holy Tears is also pretty fucking fantastic. The build in the middle is among their best imo

Second best for me but it's consistently stunning and compelling. Love how they experimented even more with their gentler side here.

Sometimes I forget how heavy this album is because I hearken mostly back to the soothing, more ambient like parts. And also the ending of Garden of Light, which stands in my mind as one of the high points of the history of music.

There's seriously so much heart and soul that comes with the music on here and it's unbelievable how Oceanic has even more of that.

Honestly I prefer the progressiveness and production of Wavering Radiant, but Isis never really did anything less that excellence
