I wasn't a big fan of Riala or Suis la Lune in general until I listened to all of the work of the guitarist, Henning. His lyrics in Riala really threw me off at first but I recognized their sincerity after listening more. My admiration for his work definitely intensified after listening to his solo noise project, Years Passing. It's best listened to in a dark room as loud as possible with headphones on or before bed. It's really something else, and helped me to understand the intensity of his vision throughout all his projects.
Also I think the guitar work in Riala is way too good to consider that album trash
