Like even if I'd hate Sufjan Stevens for writing a death metal album next go-around, I'd still have no choice but to respect the hell out of it

Alexisonfire is irrelevant in the conversation to me, because like you said it is so different, but I will add that You and Me is far better for my enjoyment than City and Color or even Alexisonfire, in turn causing me to have faith that one day I will love a City and Color album; it just has not happened yet.

To me C&C has always been 50% not boring at best. I feel that You an Me is very enjoyable

I enjoyed You+Me but I don't come back to it very often.
This and Little Hell are both pretty fantastic. The other albums all have specific songs I come back to frequently, but I rarely listen to them front to back like I do these two.
