obviously a band who it's tempting to hate on for both hipster cred and legitimate reasons, but they sure knew how to craft a song

Why someone here would use an album's popularity with Rolling Stone as an argument is beyond me considering how horrible their track record is with ratings.

Lmao.
Either way, album rules.

I feel like an asshole when I say their greatest hits album is the only record I consider classic, but it is. I'll listen to the songs on here and there's some really great ones and the rest just seem ordinary to me. I don't think it's a bad record at all, but it never struck me as much as it did for other people. I never could make it through a whole Eagles record without feeling underwhelmed. They've always been a greatest hits band for me. Sorry fellas!
