My dude, Whitechapel's self titled is their best by far. So how could that have kicked them off of any throne? I'm hoping Thy Art take the same route Whitechapel did with that record, even more towards traditional death metal, ditching excessive breakdowns. This album is great, but it does suffer a bit from a few unnessesary breakdowns. Death Dealer for example is a fantastic song, but as soon as they go into breakdown mode for that song it gets a bit formulaic.
