Great similie, pos

Good review. Haven't liked anything these guys have done since From Under The Cork Tree for exactly the reasons you stated in your opening. Sad to see I will have to keep ignoring them.

Can't wait for the Fall Out Boy pop punk throwback album for when their 15 minutes of pop fame are up.

Dear God, I forgot this album was released and I'm glad I did. Y&M was such a fucking sloppy and annoying track that it turned me off this album and it's apparent by the reviews and votes that it lived up to the expectations set for it: at the bottom.

I didn't think it was possible for this band to release something worse than Save Rock and Roll

Also, why does Stump sound so bad here? He tries getting all soulful in "Heaven's Gate" which was heavily inspired by his solo project, but dear lord it just sounds so... annoying. He has the range but his tone has degraded so heavily it's just unpleasant to listen to.

“Can't wait for the Fall Out Boy pop punk throwback album for when their 15 minutes of pop fame are up.“

They did a punk album in 2013 except as an 8 song EP that was about 10 minutes long and still dragged.

Oh my God, I started listening to "Menace" and was like "what are you talking about? This seems okay."

Then the damn whatever-the-hell-passes-for-a-chorus-in-this-song happened and... I honestly can't listen to this album any longer.

Yeah the verses and pre-chorus in menace are actually pretty sick

I'm a FOB fanboy tho and even I have to admit that chorus almost ruins (or maybe does ruin) the song

Still waiting for those hooks and melodies to grow on me...gonna give it a 2nd listen today

I enjoyed this a hell of a lot more than AB/AP, it's a mess with zero cohesion I'll give you that tho.
