High Horse is a taste slice of pop.
Liked this a lot more than I expected. Country-Pop is really not my thing, but this has a loooot of great songs. Drags a little in the middle tho. (tracks 6-9... Space Cowoby is pretty nice but the other three songs are kinda bland)

It make me so happy to see so many people digging this. :D
My only wish is that this had a bit more meaty songwriting. It’s superbly arranged and incredibly lovely, but a lot of the songs, while still great, aren’t terribly impressive in themselves. No song here even approaches the quality of “Merry Go Round” (actually, “Mother” is close, but it’s so short and while I love it as it is it could’ve been improved by extending it to a 3 minute track), and while that’s an incredibly high standard to hold songs to, it proves that she has the ability to do better. As is this is prob still her best album but if she had combined the musical characteristics of this with the songwriting of the best of her debut she might have made an actual classic.
