part of being "heavy" - in my humble opinion - is having dynamics. If you're cannibal corpse and all you ever do is play heavy and grotesque, every single song...it doesn't have the same impact. So when you hear a song like My Pain, directly followed by Not Long For This World, that's when you can directly see that yes...they are fucking heavy.

the chorus singing is 'pop music clean' imho and breaks the spell this band are in it for reals - they are a metal pop act and always wanted to make a' the money from a' the little kid
