I mostly get the "it's fun" argument but idk I don't think this album gets as much mileage out of "fun" as y'all are giving it credit for.
Like if a metal album is "heavy", shouldn't that be considered the minimum baseline of quality?

I pretty much rate things strictly by how much I enjoy them nowadays so I'm not going to refute your point, I just know this makes me want to get up and dance and by God it's not a pretty sight folks. But at least I'm having fun I guess.

I think "fun" is it's own term. Not all pop is "fun." And even so, there are a lot of metal records that are "fun."
