They have a lot of amazing Meteora / MtM demo's so I think they'll combine those in the future maybe?

The 2006 Tokyo live version of Qwerty is categorically superior than the studio version btw. One of Chester's best performances to date

This review hit me hard. Thanks for bringing back the memories and reminding me just how much LP meant to me. This really was the first album that I was obsessed with. It got me into all manner of heavy music, and eventually paved the way for me to dig into rap as well. Chester's death is still the most painful 'celebrity' death I've dealt with. Fr cried over it. Realizing his lyrics weren't just trying to appeal to "teenage angst," and that the dude truly had a terrible childhood and lasting trauma, and it makes these songs even more affecting to listen to now.

I remember in middle school literally everyone had this album. Then "Meteora" came out and everyone had it too. I quit listening to them after that though, not because it wasn't good, I was just growing older and pretty much only listened to death metal and grindcore.

Band probably changed my life. I saw the video for Crawling on MTV and it was the heaviest shit I had ever heard lol. Within 2-3 years I was into death metal and black metal.

I have such a spot spot for most of their albums even if they aren't the best on paper.

The video of One Step Closer freaked me out as a kid, with them upside down and their wild red hair

Is this where we give a mediocre album good scores because a key member passed away?

No because everything after Meteora is still trash
