Because it offers up a genuine alternative hordes of people (i.e several hundred) lap it up, but yeah it’s decent.

Strictly speaking it’s a ‘genre mash’ release (not always my favourite…), at least to some extent, but it sounds natural most of the time so good on them, atmosphere and melodic sensibility stay consistent enough.

Band kills live, but it's definitely not recommended for epileptic people haha. I absolutely loved the lights show.
PS: Man these last two albums rule so hard. I can't stop spinning them. These guys are the current picture of avant-garde black metal.
