bound & gagged are too cool for the label sporkcore. Go away.

Guttural screaming is like nails on a chalkboard
Then again you probably like the sound of nails of a chalkboard (I'm not even kidding, do you?)

"quirky keyboards and jerky rhythms"
Talking Heads? ....That explains why I saw Remain in Light on a sporkcore chart once!

"Zolo is basically just music with quirky keyboards and jerky rhythms. (Devo, Cardiacs etc )"
I always found Devo kinda meh, and I checked a couple of Cardiacs songs once and didn't like them, also XTC same boat... maybe Zolo isn't for me

Remain in Light isn't jerky/hyperactive enough. But talking heads influenced some Zolo bands so idk.
Maybe it is not! I'm not as big of a fan of Cardiacs these days but Devo are ace.

Honestly, if Sporkcore is a thing, it sounds like it's fun, catchy, carefree, and not bound by limitations
I don't see what's not to like anyway

"not bound by limitations"
Except being sporky and fun
"I don't see what's not to like anyway"
Some of it makes me feel sick tbh. It's too ott. Especially some of the Mr Bungle influenced bands.

I don't know, Ween apparently counts, and sometimes their songs are huge bummers
Gene Ween was depressed as fuck

The vocals on Courtyard sound so specifically like George Harrison that it's kinda amazing
I feel like most Beatle-esque songs don't capture that kinda sound that closely, or they'll go for more of a John or Paul vocal sound
