I can't get into this album. But, I downloaded their demo session [no vocals] version off their myspace, and this has been on repeat for quite some time now.

Not sure about this yet, need to listen to Happiness too. They're definitely not the same since johnny left and I haven't felt it to be a good thing so far.
DGD have lost an amazing vocalist and now that he's with Emarosa, they kinda suck as well -the entire of relativity sounds the same and it's boring. So no one has gained anything really - shame.

Very frustrating album. Normally I like some songs and dislike others, in this album I flip from love to hate several times in a single song.

i like this so much more than downtown.
gives me hope for their next album. the new screamer and singer are way better.
|

i thought downtown was barely decent, and i had been expecting a lot more based on what i had heard
should i check out this one??

'Happiness' is a lot better I reckon, this one kinda sucks

Yeah I don't nearly enjoy this as much as DBM or happiness. Kurt seems very awkward in this one. He's not comfortable in this album, but in Happiness he seems to have found his spot.

(in response to the dudes saying jon mess was throwing F bombs all over..)
man i think jon mess was just fucking pissed and sad about how much shit they got from people for kicking out jonny. plus he probably knew he was gonna have to leave the band so he was just saying FUCK YOU to everybody haha
amazing.

These guys proved how badass they can be without Craig, which earned major Brownie Points from me.

Totally disagree about the guest vocalists. "Uneasy Hearts Weigh The Most" and "Caviar" are 2 of the best tracks on the album IMO. Great album sandwiched between 2 classics!

I jus heard this... While the production is definetly better than the thier first LP.. the singer was pretty good..
I am disgusted by the amount of FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK BITCH ABORTIon....
esp the last track..
still havent heard happiness.. getting there.. loved the first one.
this was damn disappointing.. Im scared to listen to it again its jus so immature lyrically its embarrassing.. I wish there was just an instrumental version of this album Id love that..
FUCK FUCK FUCK SHIT BITCH ABORTION! ugh..
is happiness gna be better?? cuz if its more immature than this I wont evn go there

Johnny doesn't know how to expand his vocal delivery and rarely uses it to its fulest potential. All he does is belt a couple lines before mumbling a faux-pissed off sentence or two and then he repeats it for a while.

And Mess is a good vocalist.
