Nah it's super tame and almost all the change-ups (and there's a ton) feel very arbitrary. Just sounds like a sporadic montage of a bunch of individually cool ideas that don't form anything meaningful.



Understandable considering the gap in material. But an entire album of songs like Alea would be a huge letdown for me.
