Well, today I learnt a valuable lesson; tool fans (at least in reddit) are not pretentious any more. I wrote this:
I don't want to be sexist, but tool has always attracted more men than women. While APC has attracted men and women equally, and in some cases more women than men. That's the reason why girls don't get bands like rush, they have very intricate lyrics and very complex passages that makes them unappealing to the feminine ear.
Guess what? not only I got downvoted but also had a huge cascade of criticism.
