Since I don't possess the same mastery of diction as you fancy folks my review in a nutshell: "Nothing new, but I enjoy it and that is the only f*ck needed giving."
On the topic of Periphery I'm still a bit uncertain how I feel about the vocals. Also I enjoyed Scarlet much more as an instrumental, but the Peripherized version isn't too shabby.

chuck, i dont consider the lyrics, besides it sounding cooler hearing 'the bodies still haunt my dreams' over a heavy section as opposed to "but now im on a path of self destruction, how could this happen to me?"
you know? it didn't detract from the music the way these do, and for that example above i randomly chose a song and wrote out the first breakdown lyrics i heard because its that way in every damn song
